An award-winning visual artist, Jenny joined Westridge in 2015 to teach Middle School art after teaching collegiate level studio art and art history courses at the University of California, Irvine. Prior to Westridge, she also taught Studio Art to 3rd-12th graders at the nonprofit Heart of Los Angeles, an organization that provides art, academics, and athletics programs to underserved LA youth. Jenny received her MFA in Visual Art from UC Irvine and was a participant in the post‐graduate Critical Studies course at the Malmö Art Academy. As a professional artist, Jenny's work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions all over the world, including Sweden, Germany, Japan, Turkey, and Israel, and she has garnered numerous publications in artist books and journals. She is the recipient of many artist and curatorial grants, including the 2018-19 City of Los Angeles (COLA) Master Artist Fellowship, and is the co-founder of Persbo Studio an artist residency, sculpture park, and creative space in Sweden.
