Campus-wide Support to End World Hunger
Students of all grade levels came together to help address world hunger and the refugee crisis by leading canned food and hygiene kit drives, and participating in the CROP Hunger Walk. The results of their efforts were overwhelming:
- More than 500 hygiene kits were sent to refugee centers. The Lower and Middle School produced more than 100 kits, while the Upper School advisory groups pieced together 400.
- Canned food bins, many overflowing, filled the halls of the main building. The donations were delivered to the Friends in Deed food pantry in Pasadena, in time to help folks out before the holiday season.
- More than $6000 was raised for the Pasadena Area CROP Hunger Walk. History Teacher, Ms. Cole, challenged the junior class to beat her total raised. They rose to the challenge and were able to contribute more than $1,600.
