Hundreds from Westridge families and alumnae attended Saturday’s WPA Night Market, a successful and beautiful evening of connection and shared cultures through food, games, activities, and entertainment from around the world!
Educational booths from student affinities, parent cultural groups, and Westridge classes lined Madeline Court. They shared information from all over through posters, cultural items, and activities such as mahjong. In the Student Bazaar, Westridge students sold handmade goods such as origami flowers, beaded keychains, and jewelry. Demonstrations were held throughout the evening including a fashion show featuring global traditional outfits, folklórico and classical piano performances, and ancient Olympic games.
A big thank you to the WPA Night Market Chairs Cecilia Lopez and Evelyn Wah, the committee, and all the volunteers who made this event a rousing success!
