Congratulations to the Westridge Speech & Debate Team for big wins at their first tournament of the season, the Jack Howe California State University Long Beach Tournament. Competitions have moved to an online format this year, resulting in more participation and fiercer competition than ever before (this particular competition had 259 schools from 38 states competing with 1,462 entries)! Twenty students earned recognition and the team as a whole received the 4th place Sweepstakes Award for best overall team performance out of the 259 schools that competed at this tournament.
