On Saturday, the Westridge campus transformed into a buzzing hub of food, activity, and entertainment from around the world as hundreds of families came together to celebrate the diversity and spirit of our Westridge community at one of the most beloved and anticipated events of the year—the WPA Night Market!

The event kicked off on a high note as the International Fashion Show participants strutted down Madeline Court in their beautiful cultural garments, cultural performers took the stage, and students showed up and showed out their talents at the (first-ever) Night Market Talent Show! Shout out to Divya L. '33, Emma L. '32, and the SWAHG Parent Affinity Group for some beautiful cultural performances, and kudos to fourth graders Divya L., Tennessee W., Noa D. and Briar C., and Ena Y. on showstopping Talent Show performances!

Thank you to our Upper School Jewish, Latine, MENA (Middle Eastern North African), South Asian, and Southeast Asian, Taiwanese affinity groups for giving us a chance to sample traditional foods and learn more about the many vibrant cultures that make Westridge so special. The market hosted a spectacular Student Bazaar put on by dozens of budding entrepreneurs who sold handmade crafts from jewelry, crochet animals, fragrances, stationery, hand-painted rocks—to name a few! Plus, shout out to everyone who donated to and participated in the Silent Auction.

Thank you to all who attended, participated, performed, and donated—this event wouldn’t be what it is without you! A special thank you to WPA Night Market Chairs Liseth De Torre and Mónika Ojeda and the committee for organizing this beautiful event. Click here to see a gallery from the night. We’re already counting down the days until next year’s Night Market!
