Goooo Tigers! Earlier this week, both our Middle School Flag Football and Swimming teams played hard to earn the honor of Middle School Independent League (MSIL) champions!

Flag Football secured the win on Monday after three huge preliminary wins: 14-0 against Clairbourn, 46-12 against High Point, and 34-14 against Mayfield Junior, who our Tigers went on to beat 20-12 in the final game. The entire team played hard and left their all on the field, ending the season with a 5-0 overall record. Highlights of the championship game include: 

• Touchdowns by Ava M. '29, Charlotte H. '29, and Charley G. '29 (thrown by Danielle L. '29)
• A 2-point conversion by Mina J. '29
• A game clinching interception by Charley G. '29 

Middle School Swimming also took the win at their meet on Tuesday, finishing first in the league of seven teams. Swimmers also earned several top finishes in individual events: 

• 1st place in 200 Yard Medley Relay - Becca P. '30, Rokia C. '31, Avantika N. '31, Laurel J. '31
• 1st place in 50 Yard Backstroke - Gwen Z. '30
• 2nd place in 200 Yard Freestyle Relay - Ella K. '29, Caitlin P. '29, Rokia C. '31, Celina W. '31
• 2nd place in 50 Yard Butterfly - Avantika N. '31
