Head of School Elizabeth J. McGregor was named the school’s fifth honorary alumna at her retirement celebration on Sunday, which drew hundreds of members of the Westridge community from across the 13 years of McGregor’s tenure. In conferring the award, Westridge Board Chair Richard Fung said, “Liz never claims credit for herself. She always recognizes her team for their contributions. She is a fierce champion for girls education. She lives our motto, doing what we try to teach and inspire in our students. She assesses with compassion, decides with courage, and acts with conviction.”

The four additional honorary alumni are:

• Former Board Chair and Trustee Emeritus, the late James Rothenberg
• Former Director of Development Becky Potter
• Former Head of School Fran Scoble
• Former Art Department Faculty Member Juanita Jimenez
