On Wednesday, October 1, Westridge ditched the uniform for a day, and the whole community donned pink gear for our annual Pink Games for Breast Cancer Awareness. Campus celebrations included a raffle, food, fun giveaways, and cheering on the Tigers in some big rivalry matchups! A big GO TIGERS to all the teams who competed at home (Volleyball and Flag Football) and away (Tennis, Golf, and Cross Country)! Some great plays and nail-biters (bittersweet loss in overtime for varsity flag football, but oh what great play!). Our community stepped up to raise funds for metastatic cancer research — we are north of $1,000 raised with still more to count, and you can always join in! Click here to donate to the Side-Out Foundation's Side-Out Research Program for patients with metastatic breast cancer. Thank you to all who came out and supported this great cause and our athletes.
