Westridge campus came alive Saturday as more than 700 people passed through the WPA Night Market, an annual evening dedicated to connection and shared cultures across the community through food, activities, entertainment, and more from across the globe!

From the hustle and bustle around the Student Bazaar and delicious international foods to the vibrant cultural performances and Student Talent Show, there was much for attendees to take part in and enjoy. In a first, Night Market hosted a World Cup fashion show (!), with families decked out in support of teams worldwide ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

Kudos to Divya L. '33 and Yeeko X. '31 for their special cultural performances as well as the Black Student Union and Latine Affinity for leading attendees in line dancing and caballo dorado (a popular Mexican line dance!) respectively. And a shout out to Noa D. '33, Briar C. '33, Ena Y. '33, Rivenka T. '31, Isabel P. '30, Divya L. '33, and Rilo Pearl K. '30 for their talent show performances. Another highlight: Our student-led affinity groups—Jewish Affinity, Latine Affinity, MENA (Middle Eastern North African) Affinity, South Asian Affinity, Southeast Asian Affinity, and Taiwanese Affinity—as well as the parent Persian Heritage Parent Circle for celebrating their cultures with us!

And finally, thank you to our WPA Night Market Chair Charlene Flores, the Night Market committee (Liseth De La Torre, Katie Enney, Andi Gallagher, Jessica Henderson, Mike Hu, Eun Hwang, Cecilia Lopez, Richard Lowe, Leila McCarrey, Stephanie Nava, Farah Rana, Laura Salvato, Evelyn Wah, Fan Wang), and the parent and student volunteers who helped make this event a success. Big cheers to our emcees for the evening, Micaela R. '26 and Lower & Middle School Coordinator Emma Ho'o!
