The countdown begins to Class of 2026 Commencement! Next Friday's ceremony will serve as the culmination to a final few celebrations for our seniors, including College Commitment Day (a.k.a. Chalk Day), Senior Lunch with Head of School Andrea Kassar, Senior Recognition, and Senior Retreat.

Chalk Day Cheers: When there's chalk on Ayrshire Courtyard, you know what time it is: Chalk Day! This annual Westridge tradition, hosted by the College Counseling team, has seniors chalking their college or university commitment on Ayrshire Courtyard. The 62 graduates are off to 43 colleges in the fall, ranging from Cal Arts, Carleton College, and Carnegie Mellon University to UCLA, University of Chicago, and University of St. Andrews. This year, the most popular school with five matriculants is UC Berkeley followed by a tie between Northeastern University and USC with four Tigers each.

Fun fact: Ms. Kassar and Director of College Counseling Dr. Monique Eguavoen both started at Westridge at the same time that the seniors kicked off their freshman year.
