Thank you to all who supported our 6th graders in their endeavor to "Bake a Better World" earlier this week—in total, the students fundraised approximately $1,437 for the Eagle Rock-based refugee resettlement nonprofit Miry's List!

This interdisciplinary project is a long-standing Westridge tradition (more than 15 years!) in which the 6th grade students put on their entrepreneur hats to decide on a recipe, determine quantities and a fair price, plan and develop promotional materials, and more. The proceeds will support Miry's List, which is dedicated to welcoming new arrival refugee families into our community through inspired crowdsourcing solutions.
