This week, we are excited to celebrate three Upper School students for their incredible achievements outside of Westridge!

  • Stephanie C. ’25 won first place in at the International High School Research Symposium for her presentation titled "How a Hypoxic Environment Impacts CBX6 Expression and its Potential Target CA9 within Glioblastoma." The symposium is hosted by the SoCal Local Section of the American Chemical Society. Roughly 40 students from across the globe, including Stephanie, presented their work via Zoom in early December.
  • Lusha G. ’24 received an honorable mention a storytelling competition hosted by News Decoder, the educational services unit of the French nonprofit Nouvelles-Découvertes. While participating in study abroad in Italy last school year, Lusha co-wrote the award-winning story titled "By refusing to pay, Sicilians keep the Mafia away."
  • Olivia H. ’26 took first place in the U15 category of the 2023 Winter Air Gun Championship and Olympic Trials in the 10m Air Pistol women's division.

Congratulations to all three!
