Why Your Support Matters
Because of your giving, girls can thrive at Westridge.
Independent schools often are asked why families should make a donation in addition to tuition, especially when beautiful facilities and expansive programs seem to reflect ample resources. This question goes to the heart of your philanthropic giving.
Tuition does not cover the full cost of educating our students. Westridge can provide its top-quality education and maintain its beautiful campus precisely because of your giving, which builds upon over 100 years of philanthropy. These funds allow us to balance our budget each year while planning for students’ educational needs next year and next decade.
“At Westridge, you are taught to follow your dreams. At Westridge, you are taught to be unstoppable.”

How Is Westridge Funded?
A Westridge education is funded through three sources of revenue: tuition and other fees, support of the Westridge Fund, and endowment income.
Your gift supports our faculty and staff, economic diversity, academic and programming expenses, and facilities maintenance and upkeep.
Giving to the Westridge Fund directly impacts every aspect of our program and every girl at Westridge.
Endowment
The Westridge Endowment includes numerous named endowment funds, many of which are established to honor alumnae, family members, and friends.
A minimum $100,000 gift is required to establish a named endowment fund. Smaller gifts are welcomed and will be added to an appropriate existing endowment fund such as general, program, faculty, or financial aid endowment.
If you are interested in establishing an endowment fund or contributing to an existing fund, please contact THE OFFICE OF Advancement BY EMAIL AT ADVANCEMENT@WESTRIDGE.ORG.
