Artist-in-Residence Program
Westridge's Maxwell Artist-in-Residence program broadens the scope of the art curriculum by exposing students to local creative resources and talent in the Los Angeles area. Selected artists interact with the student community and often present a lecture and/or exhibit to the broader community.
The artist-in-residence program is made possible through the Cynthia Clark Maxwell '71 Endowment Fund. Established in 2004 by her parents, Polly and Brad Clark of South Pasadena, the endowment fund was created to honor Cindy's memory and Westridge experience. Cindy died in November 2002.
Westridge is grateful to the Clarks for their generosity, which offers Westridge girls new and varied perspectives on art.
