CLASS OF 2016
Peer Counselor

Founding member of the Peer-to-Peer counseling program on campus. Felt there was a need for a safe and approachable resource for younger students — one that wasn’t their favorite internet search engine — to receive help with “the everyday things” faced by adolescent girls.  Launched a website that allows seventh and eighth graders to ask questions and seek advice anonymously. Along with a small core group of trained peer counselors, thoughtfully answered each question. Wants her fellow Tigers to know that there is nothing wrong with seeking help, no matter how big or small the issue might be, and aims to help break that stigma.
